About Me

I was born and raised in the Bronx. After graduating from The Bronx High School of Science, I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Boston College and the Bank Street School of Education. I was a classroom teacher and literacy coach for fourteen years in the Bronx before joining the PS 51 family. I am enjoying my second year here!
When I am not in the classroom, you can find me spending quality time with my family, including my daughter, who keeps me on my toes! I also enjoy curling up with a cup of coffee and a good book!
